Memories of Evelyn Miller

This blog is dedicated to the memory of our granddaughter, Evelyn Celeste Miller. Evey went missing July 1st and her body was recovered July 6th from the Cedar River near Floyd, Iowa. This venue will help celebrate the wonder that she was and also post up-to-date information on the wait for justice. Plea-Agreement for Frederiksen?

Casey Frederiksen may be one step closer to avoiding a trial.

Frederiksen faces multiple counts of childen pornography possession. He lived with Evelyn Miller's mother at the time of her murder.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Cedar Rapids tells us Frederiksen's attorney has filed for an extra week to consider a plea agreement.

Prosecutors say they have no problems with Frederiksen taking that time to consider his options.
